From country music to hot chicken, Nashville is a household name amongst entertainment and culinary experts. The city is more than its tunes and food, though; Nashville is home to impressive universities and medical centers, all surrounded by beautiful nature trails. The surrounding suburbs boast similar sights and views, making the area a popular relocation destination. Ready to move to the Music City? Take a look at these popular Nashville master planned communities.

Berry Farms

Sprawling across 600 acres, Berry Farms is a master planned community in Franklin, just 23 miles south of Nashville. Homebuilders such as Celebration Homes offer more than ten different floor plans, with prices starting in the early $700s. Fans of home-grown food will love the Community Garden, which features 46 raised beds, and the Berry Farms Farmers Market, where you can buy fresh, local produce. Berry Farms students will attend schools in Williamson County School District, which has repeatedly been ranked the top public school district in the state!

Westhaven

Another Franklin master planned community is Westhaven, about 20 miles away from downtown Nashville. Several builders work in this community, including Ford Classic Homes, which offers ten floor plans starting in the low $500s. The Residents’ Club is the highlight of the neighborhood; this 15,000 square foot space offers everything from a fitness center to a theater to and a daycare! With completion estimated in Spring 2021, the West Amenity Park will offer even more social spaces, including a swimming pool, event lawn, and exercise facilities. Westhaven students are zoned to the high-performing Williamson County School District.

Durham Farms

Located 22 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, Durham Farms boasts an easygoing, small-town lifestyle with an emphasis on community. With amenities such as playgrounds, open spaces, and three miles of trails, it’s easy to leave the stress of city life behind you and enjoy the simplicity of the day. With the Cumberland River and Rockland Recreation Area in easy driving distance, folks have plenty of opportunities to stretch their legs and breathe in fresh air. Well-known builders such as Lennar offer more than a dozen floor plans starting in the late $300s, with more options being added throughout 2021.

Stephens Valley

Stephens Valley is a 25-minute drive from downtown Nashville. Surrounded by 500 acres of natural beauty, Stephens Valley offers residents the chance to feel connected with nature, which can be accessed through any numbers of parks and trails. After hiking, enjoy the taste of fresh food at the community’s farmers market and shared garden! Homebuilders offer 12+ great floor plans, with prices starting in the $700s.

Evergreen Farms

Located in Murfreesboro, Evergreen Farms is a master planned community 40 miles south of downtown Nashville. Folks here have their pick of parks, playgrounds, and access to local restaurants and shopping centers. One of the builders, Ole South, offers ten floor plans starting in the late $100s, making these houses an affordable option for many families. The greater city of Murfreesboro, notable for its Civil War history, contains ample entertainments as well, including from bars, museums, and a national park.
