Popular Master Planned Communities in Tampa

If you are looking for a sunny place to call home, look no further than Tampa, Florida. This coastal town is perfect for anyone looking to settle down in a tropical vacation destination. Between golf courses, amusement parks and miles of white sand beaches, there is always something for locals to do. To help in finding your new home in the Tampa area, check out these five beautiful master planned communities.

Waterset in Apollo Beach offers homes starting in the upper $200s. This community includes single-family homes as well as “low maintenance” villas. For the villas, residents don’t have to worry about maintaining their home’s exterior appearance because the homeowners association has them covered. Residents stay active by visiting the parks, playgrounds, sports courts and the Landing Club and Cafe, which provides a gym, pool and cafe.

Southern Hills Plantation

North of Tampa in the beautiful hills of Brooksville — part of the state’s Nature Coast — is Southern Hills Plantation. Homes here start in the $300s and come in a wide range of floor plans, so each house can be made especially for the buyer. Residents have access to a full, 18-hole private golf course, as well as an aquatic center, a full-service spa, a fitness center and walking trails within the gated community.

Bexley

The Bexley community in Land O’ Lakes north of Tampa offers single-family homes, active adult homes and luxury homes. The active adult homes start in the lower $300s and provide a low-maintenance lifestyle. With seven parks and playgrounds, walking trails, dog parks and fitness centers, residents can find plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. There is also The Hub, a retail and business destination where residents can gather with friends and family to enjoy a variety of things such as live concerts and restaurants.

Connerton

Villages throughout the community are equipped with restaurants, grocery stores, retail establishments and parks. There is also a fitness center, resort-style pool and a Kidz Zone. Families looking for good schools have many options including Connerton Elementary, Pine View Middle School and Land O’ Lakes High School, as well as many private schools.

The Eagles

The Eagles community offers energy-saving homes that come with features such as double-paned windows and glass doors and LED lights installed in all the rooms. Starting in the $500s, these three- to four-bedroom homes are available in more than a dozen floor plans that include two- and three-car garages. Residents of this gated community have access to pools and a private golf course.
