Dripping Springs Independent School District

The Dripping Springs School District received an impressive A rating for the 2018-2019 school year.  Students particularly excelled in science and social studies, scoring twice as high as the state average.  Just under 7,000 students are enrolled across seven campuses.

Rim Rock students are enrolled in Sycamore Springs Elementary, located at 14451 Sawyer Ranch Road in Austin.  Right around 850 students, ranging from Pre-K to 5th grade, attend Springs as a Tiger, the school’s mascot.  Sycamore Springs Elementary received a B rating for the past school year, with noted high student performance in math and science.

For grades 6 – 8, students continue their career as one of around 800 Tigers at Sycamore Springs Middle School, which shares a 50-acre site with the elementary school. The two campuses operate separately but share common areas such as the kitchen, allowing for a collaborative spirit amongst the schools. Sycamore Springs Middle School scored an A rating, including recognition for Top 25% in Comparative Academic Growth.

For grades 9 –12, students attend Dripping Springs High School, located at 940 West Highway 290. Just under 2,000 students are enrolled, and the graduation rate is an impressive 95%. Dripping Springs High School scored an A rating and is noted for performing exceptionally well in Post-Secondary Readiness.
